PERAN PERAWAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PROTOTIPE PEMANTAUAN GELEMBUNG PADA SELANG INFUS BERBASIS WIRELESS FIDELITY
The era of society revolution 5.0 has an impact on the role of nurses to adapt to technological developments. One of the technologies that can help nurses in the implementation of services is the development of a bubble monitoring prototype on the infusion tube to prevent embolic complications. The purpose of this study is to describe the job description of the nurse's role as a collaborator in developing a bubble monitoring prototype in an IV line. The research method was carried out by studying literature and collaborating with CV Cometronika Palembang. The main components used are the LED photodiode sensor, motorservo, and wireless fidelity. Observations were made 162 times on infusion fluids with different osmolarity, namely isotonic, hypotonic and hypertonic with two types of micro and macro infusion set sizes with different bubble sizes. The level of accuracy is judged by the ability of the components to work according to their function, this is influenced by the type of liquid, the size of the hose and the size of the bubbles. The results showed that the prototype work accuracy was high because it was able to detect bubbles of various sizes with different liquid concentrations and different hose sizes. This prototype is considered effective because the component works successfully with a total success of 156 times out of 162 observed times with a value of 96%. The prototype is used to meet biophysical needs, namely fluid needs and to apply caring behavior to prevent complications. Researchers identify problems, provide ideas, research and develop previous research results and collaborate with CV Cometronika. The role of nurses that can be applied includes identifying problems that occur in monitoring infusion therapy, providing ideas, innovating to provide services with modern and updated methods following the era of the times and being able to work together in teams and professionals in various scientific fields. The task of nurses in this study is to find ideas, seek and collaborate with experts, with the function of nurses in this study, namely nurses can take part in the innovation in developing science and technology in the nursing field. Key words: the role of the nurse; infusion; monitoring prototype; bubble; wireless fidelity
