BPKP as a part of the Government Internal Supervisory Institution acts as an assurance and consultant provider. This requires continuous improvement of internal processes to maintain compliance with standard and the quality of processes and results of supervision can continue to improve. In article 33 of Government Regulation Number 8 of 2006, it is stated that the review of reports on the results of supervision by APIP is in order to ensure the reliability of the information presented in the report. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tiered reviews in improving the quality of the monitoring results report at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency of South Sumatra Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that examines data from interviews and direct observation supported by primary data and secondary data from the Representative of the South Sumatra Financial and Development Supervisory Agency. The analysis in this study is to see the effectiveness of the tiered review process by referring to three dimensions, namely optimization of objectives, systems perspective and pressure on behavior. After conducting the research it can be seen that the application of tiered reviews in improving the quality of the monitoring results report at the South Sumatra Province Financial and Development Supervisory Agency has been effective.
