Soil is an important thing in everyday life that affects the need for farming. It is important for us to know whether the soil is in good condition or not before we plant a plant especially for the type of plant that requires special treatment, so that the result of the production of such crops is also good. In general, people who grow crops, especially farmers will manually check the type of soil used, the level of humidity, the temperature of the environment, and so on. Where it certainly requires more time and energy, therefore monitoring tools for control systems on soil moisture and fertility is one way to save time and energy. In addition, in the process of watering plants required special attention, because if there is excess water or lack of water, the quality of the soil becomes not good. The application of fuzzy logic is one of the effective ways in the automatic plant watering control system, because it uses calculations that have been completed with the level of soil needs and has been very much applied to various studies. Fuzzy logic that works on soil moisture sensors, temperature and flow meters will send data to the arduino nano and provide action against the water pump. To obtain data in real-time, an Internet of Things approach is required to monitor soil moisture and fertility where data from arduino nano is sent to NodeMCU V3 ESP8266 via adafruit platform which is then sent to android application.
