ANALISIS CITRA DIRI DALAM PENGGUNAAN BARANG FASHION HIGH-END TIRUAN PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN ILMU POLITIK UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This research aims to analyze about mean of self image wear imitate of fashion high-end on students of faculty social and politic sriwijaya university. In this research the writer try to explain about relation among symbols, self image, and mean on wear imitate of fashion high-end In faculty social and politic sriwijaya universiy which has an impact on the analysis of the meaning of self-image in the use of counterfeit high-end fashion items for students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University. This research uses qualitative research methods, meaning that the researcher is directly involved in the research through observation and interviews. This research is a qualitative descriptive. Based on the research that has been done, the results of research using the theory of symbolic interaction by George Herbert Mead show that in the analysis of the meaning of self-image is the result of mind, self, society. They can give meaning to their existence in using the high-end imitation fashion items they use in their daily lives. On this side they show their fashion in imitation high-end fashion items as well as people who are trendy, fashionable and look high-class. They use these items in various occasions, when hanging out or on campus activities, by paying attention to the details of the high-end fashion items they use so that they get recognition in their environment.
