This study aims to determine how the management of Light Rail Transit (LRT) transportation in Palembang City. The problems that exist are motivated by the number of passengers per day that still do not meet the target and the route that is traversed is still uneven. The theory used is the transportation management theory according to Nasution, namely safety, regularity, comfort, economical. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods. Data collection was done by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Transportation Management in Palembang City has been running well, but there are still sub-aspects that have not given big results. In this study, researchers suggest that the South Sumatra Light Rail Transit (LRT) should continue to improve its transportation management. Whether it's from maintenance of vehicle crews, Human Resources (HR), relations with agencies and also from promotional activities.
