Social relations occur between Papuan students and non-Papuan students studying at The Indralaya Campus of Sriwijaya University. This research's objects are Papuan students and non-Papuan students of Sriwijaya University who meet the informant criteria. This research examines the social relationship of Papuan students with non-Papuan students at the Indralaya campus of Sriwijaya University by looking at forms of social relations and the driving factors and inhibition of social relations. The concept used to examine the problem of social relations is the concept of social relations from Wardiyatmoko. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with Papuan students and non-Papuan students who become the primary informants and custodians of the student dormitories who became supporting informants in this research. This research's data collection techniques are observations, semi-structural interviews with principal informants and supporting informants, and documentation. This research shows that associative social relations in cooperation occur in group work and fundraising solidarity actions. Accommodation occurs in religious tolerance, discussion to relieve tensions, and compromise when working on group tasks performed by Papuan students and non-Papuan students. Then dissociative social relations occur in contraventions in the form of ridicule and innuendo that Papuan students often accepted. The driving factor in Papuan students' relationship dengan with non-Papuan students is the awareness they are studying, maintaining a sense of security, increasing friendship, and caring. While the inhibitory factor of Papuan students' social relations with non-Papuan students is the difficulty of adaptation, the nature of Papuan students tends to be closed, and negative prejudices often arise.
