Poverty is a social problem that always exists in the society so it needs an appropriate and sustainable strategy to solve the problem. This study was aimed at determining the effects of economic growth, city minimum wage, and inflation simultaneously and partially on the urban poverty rate in South Sumatra in the period of 2011-2019. The data used in this study were secondary data obtained from the publications of Central Bureau of Statistics. The analysis technique was multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that economic growth, city minimum wage and inflation simultaneously had a significant effect on the poverty level. Economic growth and city minimum wage partially had a significant negative effect on the poverty level, while inflation partially had a significant positive effect on the poverty level.
