POTENSI KLASTER INDUSTRI KECIL PANGAN UNGGULAN DI KOTA PALEMBANG
This study aimed to find out the Clusters of Potential of Leading Small Food Industries in Palembang City and to decide the right strategy for the development of potential industries in Palembang City in order to support the development of the national economy. The study used the data of a number of business units, personnel, and small industrial investment based on industrial groups in Palembang City from 2014 to 2018. The method of analysis used was qualitative descriptive analysis. The analysis techniques used Location Quotient or abbreviated as LQ and Klassen Typology Analysis. The results of this study showed that the food industry having the highest average value of LQ > I from 2014-2018 was the bread and cake industries The Strategy for developing small industries in Palembang is the right strategy, namely the SWOT Strategy because the strengths they have can overcome the existing weaknesses and threats so that they can take advantage of opportunites.
