ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH AKUISISI
The research aims to analyse the difference in the company's financial performance before and after acquisition. The company's financial performance is measured using the financial ratios: Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Assets, Total Assets Turn Over and Earning Per Share. This research was conducted with quantitative methods, by retrieving data from all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which carried out the acquisition activity in 2016. The sampling in this study used the Purposive sampling method with the data obtained by as many as 10 companies that did the acquisition. The non parametric test used was Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Manova to answer the hypothesis. Based on partial testing, there are no significant differences to the Current ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio and Total Assets Turnover for the entire period. But there are significant differences in the financial ratios of Return On Assets and Earning Per Share for the period before and after the acquisition. Keywords; Acquisition, financial performance, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Manova
