This research examines the "Reciprocity in Ngambek Ahian Culture in the Community of Aur Duri Village, Rambang Niru Muara Enim District". The purpose of this research is to know the reciprocity that existed in the culture of ngambek ahian in Aur Duri Village. The method of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collecting techniques are participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. This research uses the theory of reciprocity from Mauss and Sahlins and the theory of reciprocity values from Molm, and comrades. The results of this research found that reciprocity in the culture of ngambek ahian included reciprocal relations between family, neighbors and friends. This reciprocal relations is inseparable from the process of execuation the culture of ngambek ahian that start from the stage before implementation, the stage of implementation and the stage after implementation. Then the types of reciprocity in the ngambek ahian culture are generalized and balanced. This generalized and balanced reciprocity is found in the reciprocal relations between family, neighbors and friends. The next, the reciprocity value contained in the ngambek ahian culture is an instrumental and symbolic value.
