The existence of the Café 88 Commercial Sex Worker (PSK) in Muara Lawai Village has disturbed several communities and has had a social and economic impact on the people of Muara Lawai Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the social and economic impacts of the existence of PSK Café 88 on the community of Muara Lawai Village. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method that determines the informants purposively. The research strategy used is a case study with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the concept of social impact and economic impact of the existence of CSWs from Kartini Kartono. The results of this study indicate that the existence of PSK Café 88 has a social and economic impact on the community of Muara Lawai Village. The social impact that can be seen with the existence of these prostitutes is the destruction of community morals and values, damage to joints, disharmony in the household and leading to divorce, and the occurrence of crime. Meanwhile, the visible economic impact is that there are benefits for shop owners and economic losses for individuals who visit Café 88 stalls.
