This study aims to determine how the effect of work discipline on teacher performance in SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Alai, Rantau Alai District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The population in this study amounted to 36 people. The sample in this study used a census in which all members of the population were respondents, totaling 36 people. This study uses primary data through questionnaires to respondents. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis it was concluded that work discipline had a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers in the SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Alai, Rantau Alai District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Schools must be more assertive in applying work discipline for teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Alai as educator so that techer performance and work discipline are better to prevent occurrence of irregularities to the rules that have been applied.
