This study examines "The socio-economic function of lebak lebung in the community of Teloko Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency". The problem taken in this study is What is the social economic function of Lebak Lebung in the community of Teloko Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study is a qualitative study with the unit of analysis being the people of Teloko Village who carry out the Lebak Lebung tradition. Data collection was obtained through direct collection, in-depth interviews with 13 research informants. Data were analyzed qualitatively which consisted of three activities that were carried out simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The theory used in this study is from Robert K. Merton. The results of this study indicate the lebak lebung socioeconomic function, the Manifest Function and the Latency Function. Manifest Function, this function explains the functions that exist or are evident, among others: Creating Social Solidarity, Preserving Social Values, Creating Reciprocity Between the Leader and the Government, Maintaining Local Wisdom Values, Improving Community Welfare.
