The objectives of this research are: 1) to know how PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang applying the quality standard of ISO 9001 :2000, and 2) to analyze whether their performance shown the attainment of their quality objectives. Research finding has shown that during the period of years 2004-2007, the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) which is compiled with Balance Scorecard approach indicated that the ISO 9001 :2000 quality management system had showing its effectiveness and the progress of internal quality audit also showing the commitment of management for continual improvement. In order to improve the performance of company, management of company should up-grade the quality management system. Because it can shown adequate, clear and reliable information that can help management and others to make decisions.
