The Objectives of this research to evaluate the accountability of Almsmanaging organization Dompet Sosial lnsan Mulia Palembang as a South Sumatera 's Alms Foundation was suitable based on accountability of public sector institution (An Application of PSAK No.45 The Standard of Financial Report for Non Profit Organization). The Alms Managing Organization Dompet Sosial lnsan Mulia Palembang is an institution to serve the public interest in accumulation and distribution of Islamic fund. As a public sector institution, the Alms managing organization DSIM Palembang has large stakeholders. The consistency, the alms managing organization DSIM Palembang is supposed to be able to give the information to whom concern about financial management of alms. The ability to give transparant, equal, and equitable information for stakeholders, especially about financial management is one of criteria which determine accountability rate and accestability of the institution. If the pubic 's trust for this institution is still guarded, the public will distribute the fund through this institution regularly.
