This study is to determine and analyze the effect of increased public revenues on demand for mortgages at national banks in Palembang City. The data used in this study was the primary data. This study was done by using simple linear regression analysis by using application of Eviews 06. The result of this research indicated that partially increase of income of society had positive and significant influence to demand of mortgage. With value of Coefficient of Determination (R2) equal to 0.373028 which means that income variable has proportion influence to amount of request of home ownership credit equal to 37,3% while the rest equal to 62,7% influenced by other variable not in regression model.
