The objectivc of Ihis study was to delerminc the dcvclopment of added-value. labor productivity, and efficiency of the bicycle industry in Indonesia during the obscrvation ycars of 1990-2011. The variablcs of the study were addcd value, labor productivity, and efficiency. The data used in this study were the time series data in the period of 1990-2011. The sourcc of data was from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics, using 5-digit industiy classification system called the International Standard Industrial Classification (1S1C). The technique of analysis was quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the study on the bicycle industry in Indonesia showed that the added-value growth in the bicycle industiy in Indonesia in 1990-2011 was relatively high with an annual average of 14.10%. The labor productivity in the bicycle industry in Indonesia in 1990-2011 increased with an annual average of 8.66%. The levels of efficiency of the bicycle industry in Indonesia in 1990-2011 fluetuated, with an annual average of 0.72%. The overall performance of the bike industry in Indonesia in 1990-2011 was quite good as the added-value, labor productivity, and efficiency had an average positive growth.
