The objective of this study is to reveal how the concentration and efficiency affect the profits viewed from the percentage of the Price Cost Margin (PCM) of tempe and tofu industry in Indonesia. The data used are secondary data, namely the data of the period of 1993 to 2011. This study uses a descriptive and quantitative analysis method. The descriptive analysis is used to analyze the trends or industrial development. Whereas the quantitative analysis uses multiple regressions with Ordinary Least Square method (OLS). The results show that the dependent variables are significantly affected by the independent variables. From the results of the regression of concentration and efficiency on the profits is obtained the R2 value of 0.514634, which suggests that the independent variable is able to explain the dependent variable of 51,46 per cent (highly significant). While the remaining 48,54 percent is influenced by other factors outside the model.
