PENGARUH PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH (PAD) DAN DANA ALOKASI UMUM (DAU) TERHADAP BELANJA DAERAH DI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
This study was aimed at finding out to what extent the regional government revenues and general fund allocation influenced the regional government expenditure in South Sumatra. The secondary data namely the realization of the regional government budget revenues and expenditure from the year 2007 to the year 2011. The data were analyzed quantitatively using the multiple linear regressions. It was found that the regional govemment revenues and general fund allocation had positive and significant influences on the regional government expenditures in South Sumatra. The R2 value was 0.965 which meant that the independent variable contributed 96.5 percent to the dependent variable (significant). This also meant that the regional expenditure influenced 96.5 percent of the regional revenues and general fund allocation from the year 2007 to the year 2011. The rest (3.5 percent) was influenced by other factors (cateris pari bus).
