EFISIENSI PRODUKSI PADA INDUSTRI BUBUK COKLAT DI INDONESIA TAHUN 1995-2008 (ISIC 15431)
This research was aimed at identifying the efficiency level of powdered chocolate industry in Indonesia in the period of 1995 - 2008. Efficiency refers to a comparison between value added and production cost. Powdered chocolate industry processes cocoa seeds into powdered chocolate. The secondary data were those on value added, input cost, output rate and production costs and collected from 1995 - 2008 reports of Central Bureau for Statistics and coded as ISIC 15431. The research results show that the efficiency level of the industry was not fully good. Viewed from their annual trend. the value added was lower than the production cost, therefore, the efficiency level was also low, that is, 0.21 by average.
