To achieve competitive advantage, every company is required to continuously improve and effectivity and efficiency. The achievement of effectivity and efficiency can be done with supervision and internal control in the company. Therefore, in every state/locul enterprises in Indonesia internal supervisory unit was established (SPI) as an internal auditor to perform supervisory functions for the benefit of the company's management and follow up by providing Information and advice to management so that the managemenl can carry out their duties it better. Implementation of supervisory function by SPI of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang has been carried out effectively. Hawever, there are Still some weakness in the managemenl and implementation of the supervision function, especially in monitoring the follow up audit findings. With the Holding of the weakness of existing improvements. SPI of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is expected could carry out the supervision functions better so the recommendalions f ha t has been given t o the managemenl become more rewarding as well as the enterprise effectivity and efficiency can be achieved.
