The purpose of this study was to evaluate the operational management of the utility production function, ammonia, and urea fertilizer in plant l B PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang. with the result how the operations management and to determine if its management has been carried out effectively and efficiently. lbis research was done by deductive. The results showed that in three sections of l B plant found some obstacles in the implementation of operational management: (I) The lack of labor in the Management of field operations, (2) Computer panel troubled can impede operator's work (3) Some of the machinery surpass an economic ages, (4) Decreasing output target budget each year impact the non optimal sale. This indicates that the operational management of plant I B PT. pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang has not been effective and efficient. It is expected that the management would revise its policy to strengthen factory operations more effective and efficient.
