The objectives of this research are (I) Knowing the impact of the amount of Tax Payer Registration Number to individual income tax revenue in the Tax Office (KPP) in Palembang (2) Detennine the influence of the amount of Tax Payer Registration Number to a percentage of individual income tax revenues on income tax revenue in Tax Office (KPP) in Palembang (3) Identifying the underlying motivation of individual taxpayers in a Tax Payer Registration Number. Research finding has shown that during period of years 2005-2009, the number of Tax Payer Registration Number in Tax Office (KPP) Pratama Ilir Timur Palembang apparently has an influence on individual income tax revenues (individual income tax) with a value of correlation 0.919, which means it has a close relationship. While the two Tax Office (KPP), which is in the Tax Office (KPP) Pratama Ilir Barat Palembang and the Tax Office (KPP) Pratama Seberang Ulu Palembang, the number of Tax Payer Registration Number has no effect on the amount of individual income tax revenues, with a value of correlation 0.149 and 0.162. The accretion of total individual income tax receipts increase the amount of contributions to the proportion of income tax revenue. This happened in 2 Tax Office (KPP) is being investigated. And about the motivation of an individual taxpayer in a Tax Payer Registration Number found that taxpayers in a Tax Payer Registration Number is still largely due to an Act to regulate the ownership of Tax Payer Registration Number. To increase the amount of tax revenue it is expected that both the government and the Tax Office (KPP) can perfonn tasks with the best and also provide the best services so that taxpayers more confidence and comfortable in performing activities of taxation.
