STUDI KOMPARATIF KINERJA KEUANGAN PT. BA PASCA PENERAPAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

The objectives of this research are I) knowing about Good Corporate Governance's implementation at PT. Tarnbang Batubara Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, 2) knowing about financial performance of PTBA before and after GCG implementation, and 3) analyzing in order to know if there is varian after GCG implementation. Research finding has shown varian of PT. BA financial performance before and after GCG implementation. Financial performance of PT. BA after GCG implementation is better than before GCG implementation. It can be shown from Increasing of financial ratios that use to measured financial performance of PT. BA, such as Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Investment Ratio, except for Total Asset Turn Over Ratio. The decreasing rate of Total Asset Turn Over Ratio caused by the increasing rate of account receivable. Yet, the decreasing rate of Total Asset Turn Over Ratio after GCG implementation was smaller than the decreasing rate of Total Asset Turn Over Ratio before GCG implementation. In short, the result from analyzing of this research shown that GCG implementation at PT. BA has run well. Beside that, based on calculating of financial performance of PT. BA the writer could conclude that financial performance of PT. BA after GCG implementation was better than before GCG implementation.
