Indonesia is one of the world's largest natural gas producer, Field X is one of the largest gas collecting station in Indonesia, which began operating in 2006. Total production of natural gas it produces from 24 active wells can reach 180 MMSCFD, but over time, occur drop in reservoir pressure so that in 2013 production produced decreased to 98 MMSCFD and causes the X Field unable to meet consumer demand by 150 MMSCFD. Therefore, starting on January 22, 2014 using the X Field 7 compressor units and 1 unit compressor stand-by as a backup. By using a compressor unit 7 is expected the gas pressure can be increased so that a production target of 150 MMSCFD can be met. In operation the compressor unit is often experienced unplanned shut down, so the decline in gas production in the Field X PT. Pertamina Asset II Field Hall. From the results of the evaluation and calculation as well as the review of the field from January 2014 to April 2015 the number of the largest gas production lost occurred in May 2014 amounted to 250.387 MMSCF (score - average per day 8.07 MMSCFD) caused by unplanned shut down the compressor. Where unplanned shut down compressor indicator is most often caused by high torque for 444.83 hours, high level for 75.52 hours, and high temp for 112.98 hours. In order to combat and reduce unplanned shut down the compressor and gas production loss greater due to unplanned shut down the compressor in order to continue to maintain the compressor which stand by in good condition as a backup, and monitoring and routine repairs on compressor unit.
