Performance measurement is a very important for the company. Performance measurement in this research using Baalnced Scorecard method. The objective of this method is to know the performance of the company from four perspectives, namely: financial perspective, internal business process perspective, customer perspective and learning and growth perspective. This research type is field research which using descriptive and comparative analysis. The researcher conducts the measurement of Pelindo II cabang Palembang using data from 2005-2009 to analyze financial perspective, internal business process perspective, customer perspective and leaming and growth perspective. From this research results that has been done can be concluded that the overall performance of PT Pelindo II cabang Palembang is good enough. It is indicated by the result of the measurement using Balanced Scorecard that producted by financial perspective, internal business process perspective, customer perspective and leaming and growth perspective. To increase the performance of the company that has been reached, the researcher suggesr to the company to decrease the cost of the company and the company must increase the quality of Service and the professionalism in giving Service to the customer.
