ANALISIS KOMPARATIF LIKUIDITAS PERBANKAN KONVENSIONAL DENGAN PERBANKAN SYARIAH DI INDONESIA
This study aims to compare the conventional banking liquidity with Islamic banking in Indonesia. There are 3 indicators that the bank is liquid or not, they are Reserve Requirement Ratio (GWM or RR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Third Party Funds (TPF) for the conventional banking. While for islamic banking they are Reserve Requirement Ratio (RR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Third Party Funds (TPF). Using secondary data from period of years 2000 to 2009 period. Techniques analysis of this study are non-parametric statistical methods with the Mann-Whitney test and Kolmogorov Semimov (KS-test). The results showed that during the period of years 2000 to 2009 period, the liquidity position of conventional and Islamic banking are different. Based on three indicators, for RR and LDR or FDR, Islamic banking position is better than conventional banking. From TPF indicator, conventional banking position is better than Islamic banking.
