Money is element in modern economics system, with public money can make transaction, so that money is all important thing in life. The role of money ot vital importance, either seen from it's the function nor it’s the role in increasing economic activity efficiency. The issu on this legal memorandum writing procce is the effect inflation and deposit rates to currency demand in Indonesia time line 1994-2008. From the results of multiple linear regression (OLS), inflation has positive influence on currency demand, while deposit rates negatively affect the currency demand. Coefficient of determination (R2) 0.6734 meaning that 67.34 percent of currency demand in Indonesia ajfected hy inflation and deposit rates, these results show 67.34 percent of the independent variables can explain the dependent variable
