This research has been intended to know correlation degree of palm oil (linkage of backward and forward) in Indonesia during the period of 1995, 2000 and 2003 by using the input output (I-O) table of Indonesia which was published by Statistic Center Bureau as the main data. Generally, in order to know the correlation degree of forward and backward linkage can be seen from the index of spreading power (backward) and sensitivity power (forward). From the final rcsult can be stated that the linkage inter sector of palm oil among the others has a low relationship. It happened because palm oil commodity in Indonesia was not as the main source but one of main commodities of non oil and gases of Indonesia.
