This research is aimed to analyze the causal relationship between financing extended and liquidity of Islamic hanking in Indonesia period March 2003 to December 2007 by using secondary data. This research is using quantitative and qualitative technic analyze, whereas quantitative analysis by using simple regression and Granger Causality method. Based on re suit, this research is only has uni-directional causality, that only financing extended that ajfect the liquidity variable of Islamic banking while the liquidity is not significantly ajfect the financing extended of Islamic banking on research period. When liquidity as the dependent variable, the coejficient 0,126 is not zero (dj ^ 0). The F-statistic 19,47 is bigger than F-table 3,63 on a=5%, means that financing has significant ajfection to the liquidity of Islamic banking. When financing extended is the dependent variable, the coejficient is 0,097 (bj — 0) shows that there 's no causal relationship between liquidity to financing extended, besides the other coejficient andprobability Is not significant.
