ANALISIS PERILAKU INDUSTRI ULOS DI KOTA PEMATANG SIANTAR
This research purpose to analyze the conduct (pricing strategies, product strategies, promotion strategies) of ulos industries in Pematang Siantar City. The data that has been used are primer, data collected by observed and interviewed responden, and the secondary data taken from many resources included the from BPS (Badan Pusat Statistik) and Disperindag (Dinas Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan) of Pematang Siantar City The result of this research showed that pricing strategies ulos industries in Pematang Sintar uses mark-up Pricing, by giving mark-up to the average cost and average variabel cost. From the result of calculation, on the average the mark-up is between 11,3 percent to 17 percent. Product strategies used diferentiation of product, product are angkola toraja, jumbo, tikar-tikar, sekata, hatirondang rondang, hatirondang sulo, bulang, suri-suri.
