FAKTOR DOMINAN YANG MEMPENGARUHI INFLASI DI INDONESIA PERIODE 1992-2006
The purpose of this research is to find out what is the dominant factor of inflation in Indonesia. The factors are money supply (Mi), velocity of money, exchange rate and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The data that used in this research is secondary data, started from 1992-2006. This research by using multi regression linear method of analyzing. The result shows that money supply (M1), exchange rate and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Indonesia would influence inflation positively and velocity of money in Indonesia would influence inflation negatively. The increasing money supply (Mi), exchange rate and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will increase inflation and the increasing velocity of money will decrease inflation in Indonesia. The dominant factor that impact inflation in Indonesia period 1992-2006 is money supply (M1).
