This study aims to determine the correlation of the industry concentration on the valuc added, efficiency and the number of companies in Indonesian cement industry. This study used quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis used multiple regression analysis with the Eviews 6. The concentration ratio of value added of four largest companies (CR4) is used as the measuring tool to observe the industry concentration. Observation period is 16 years from 1993 until 2008. The result of observation of the cement industry is the concentration ratio of value added of four largest companies (CR4) in Indonesian cement industry is in oligopoly in the third level on the basis of grouping by Bain for shcteen years of observation. In terms of efficiency observations, the number of companies and valueadded contribution to value-added concentration ratio (CR4) in the Indonesian cement industry shows a relatively strong influence and positive value added and negative for the number of companies and efficiency. It can be seen from the results of regression between the ratio of concentration of four largest companies in cement industry with value-added, efficiency and the number of companies. The result is the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.791198. Coefficients R2 shows that the variable value, efficiency and the number of companies indicate the variable concentration ratio (CR4) of 79.12%; the remaining 20.88% was deseribed by other faetors outside the model. Furthermore, the coefficient correlation (R) is 0.738998. It also shows the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. So the influence of added value, efficiency and the number of companies on the concentration ratio (CR4) is 73.90%. While the relationship is positive which means if the level of value added increases, the percentage level of concentration ratio (CR4) will also increase. The relationship is negative which means if the level of efficiency and the number of companies increase, the percentage level of concentration ratio (CR4) will decrease.
