The target of this research is to flnd out the efficiency and effectiveness from taxes collection of vehicle and taxes of water vehicle in South Sumatra Province, and also to flnd out the influence of population, the sum of vehicle and the water vehicle, PDRB, Dummy variable (before and after water vehicle taxes exist) toward the tax revenue of vehicle and water vehicle. The variables that is studied in this research are the taxes vehicle revenue and water vehicle revenue, taxes collection cost of vehicle and water vehicle, Population, PDRB, and Dummy variable. The result shows that first, value of efficiency and effectively taxes of vehicle and water vehicle in South Sumatra province is very efficient with effectively level which is very effective in it’s collected. Second, population, the sum of vehicle and water vehicle, PDRB, and Dummy variable together influence toward the tax revenue of vehicle and water vehicle in the South Sumatra province with R2= 0,993.
