This research was aimed at identifying the influence of rate of interest credit and gross domestic produci to credit demand of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in South Sumatera during the year J998-2008. It dealt with secondary data of this period. The multiple linear regression method was applied to analyze the data; the Ordinary Leas Square (OLS) slatistical tests and classical assumptions test was used to estimate the results. The research shows that the variable interest rates did not significantly influence the demand credit of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in South Sumatera while the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) significantly influence to variable credit demand of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the province of South Sumatera during the year 2002-2010
