This study aims to understand the accounting information system of sales which applied by PT. Rotari Persada, to identify causes of the occurring problem, and to provide general recommendations to support the more effective and efficient sales activities. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative approach, which analyze and explain the study matter by comparing flowchart and documents related to sales with available information and relevant theories. Source of data used are primary data obtained from observations and interviews, and secondary data such as documents from PT. Rotari Persada. Based on the results of the study, the accounting information system of sales which applied by PT. Rotari Persada already has sufficient functions, procedures, and documents as needed. However, just make the production request form and sales form into one document, since they have the same purpose. The occurring problems are caused by the shortage of personnel and equipment in sales function, thus need to be added, also the procedure for making sales invoices and recording are often not performed and not complied, inefficient, unreliable, and the process is often delayed, so the company should take note of its control system.
