Jakarta Islamic Index is one of the Indonesian Stock index which calculated average stock price for the type of business that comply o f sharia criteria. Many factors can affect the stock index, such as inflation, interest rate, foreign exchange rates. International economic, comodities worJd prices and the amout of money (Samuelson & Nordhaus, 2004). This study was aimed at indetifying the influence of inflation, interest rate. exchange rate (Rp/USD) and world gold prices on the Jakarta Islamic lndex progress. This research using a monthly data from 2008- 2012 for each variabel. Multiple linear regression analysis were used in this study. Before doing multiple linear regression we must do a classical assumption, than also use coefficient determination for hypothesis test with statistic t-test (partial) and f-test (simultan). The result showed that partially inflation and world gold prices had significant and positive effect. but interest rate and exchange rate had significan and negative effect on Jakarta Islamic Index. In relation to the result of coefficient determination showed that adjusted R square Value = 89% whiches the cbange movement of dependent variable (Jakarta Islamic Jndex) can be explained or affected 98% by the change movement of independent variable (Inflation, Interest Rate. Exchange Rate and World Gold Prices) and the rest of 11% explained or affected by other exluded variable in this study.
