ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH, EFISIENSI DAN PRODUKTIVITAS TENAGA KERJA INDUSTRI KECAP DI INDONESIA PERIODE 1998-2008
This study was aimed at (J) finding the value-added development of the soy sauce industry in Indonesia, (2) finding the development of soy sauce industrial efficiency in Indonesia, and (3) finding the development of the work force productivity of the soy sauce industry in Indonesia from the year the year 1998 to 2008. In this study, the data analyzed was based on the secondary ones. They are output data values, input costs, intermediate costs, values added, and the number of wok force in the year of 1998 to 2008. The grounded theories used were the theory of industry, productions, performance, value added, efficiency, and work force productivity. Qualitative descriptive analysis was used to discuss various graphs and tables obtained from the cross tabulations and data of industrial development. Moreover, to test the hypothesis, related theory and information were applied. The results of the study showed that the value added of soy sauce industry had been increasing for 11 years of observations. Meanwhile, the efficiency level of soy sauce industry tended to have not been eflficient yet, in contrast with the work force productivity which kept growing every year.
