This research was aimed at identifying the influence of Capital outflow on Indonesia foreign exchange reserves in the period of 1990 to 2008. It dealt with secondary data of this period. The multiple linear regression method was applied to analyze the data; the Ordinary Leas Square (OLS) was used to estimate the results. The research shows that the Capital outflow did not significantiy influence the Indonesian foreign exchange reserves whereas the currency exchange did so. The Capital outflow had a short term effect on the reserves.
