The aims of this research are (1) to explain how the development productions efftcency ofsugar industri/ in Indonesia (2) to explain hoxv to increased production of sugar in Indonesia. The data has been used are secondary data's from mamj source including Central Beauro of Statistics, by using database in 1996-2005. Funding analysis, this ten years research shoio that productions efftciency inclined decrease from 1,11 in 1996 decrease to 1,03 in 2005. To increased production of sugar in indonesia, govemment especially can do intensification and extensification program, changing with a new machine, and give training for worker and outsourting for professional worker from other country.
