The problem in this research is the diversity in the school environment. This study aims to determine the differences in the multicultural efficacy of primary school children in rural and urban areas. This study uses a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were students at SD Negeri 11 Indralaya and SD Negeri 060819 Medan. The data collection technique used the Multicultural Efficacy Scale for SD Children (SD Children SEM). The results of this study indicate that as many as 58 respondents in SD N 11 Indralaya, there are 13 students who have a high EM category of 22%, 38 students have a moderate EM of 66%, and 7 students have a low EM of 12%. And as many as 58 respondents in SD N 060819 Medan, there were 14 students with high EM by 24%, 36 students with moderate EM, and 8 students with low EM by 14%. The result of this study is that there is no difference in the multicultural efficacy of primary school children in rural and urban areas.
