PERBEDAAN EFEKTIVITAS VIDEO ANIMASI DAN APLIKASI GAWAI TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IMPAKSI MOLAR KETIGA SISWA SMA PLUS NEGERI 17 PALEMBANG
Background: Impacted teeth are teeth that fail to erupt within the dental arch. Third molars are the most frequently impacted teeth. One measures to prevent tooth impaction or complications that may occur is to increase knowledge of impaction trough Oral Health Education (OHE). Video animation and smartphone applications are examples of media that can be used to increase knowledge. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study with two-group comparison pre test-post test design. The number of respondents in this study were 92 students of first year of SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang. Assessment of the knowledge level of the impacted third molars before and after being given video animation and smartphone application was carried out using a questionnaire in the form of Googleform. The data analysis used in this study was pair T-test and unpaired T-test.
