PENGARUH LATIHAN FISIK TERHADAP KONSENTRASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
A doctor must have broad knowledge, good attitude and professionalism on workplace. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of physical exercise on student concentration in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sriwijaya. Quasi experimental research design is used in this research. The data were taken from the Medical Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine. The sample of this research was active students of medical education, amounting to 36 intervention groups and 36 control groups who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis used Paired T-test with the help of SPSS software. Based on the results of statistical tests with Paired T-test in the pretest and post-test intervention groups, it was found that p = 0.000 or p 0.05 there is not a significant difference. There was a mean difference between the pretest and post-test intervention groups, namely 4.31 ± 1.939 and 9.39 ± 2.309. The control group had a mean difference of 4.78 ± 2.231 and 6.22 ± 3.17. There is a significant difference between the pretest and post-test intervention and control group mean scores so that there is an effect of physical exercise on the learning concentration of students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University.
