Therefore, this study is hoped to be an alternative for screening children with intellectual disabilities. This study used the descriptive observational study with the cross-sectional approach. The finger and palm print patterns as the primary data used in this study were obtained directly from the sample that met the inclusion criteria from Karya Ibu Special School Palembang. The results obtained for the demographic age characteristic of the 93 samples that met the inclusion criteria were: the most students with intellectual disability were children (44.1%), and the largest gender was male (59.1%).
