Background: Blunt trauma is one of description of the situation caused by several kind of mechanical violence which has blunt surface i.e stone, fist, wood, hammer, nail, etc. which will cause damage to body tissue. Blunt trauma has typical wound are bruise, abrasions, abraded, and fracture. Persecution is an act of physical violence intentionally resulting an injury / trauma, feeling bad, damaging the health of others and is a criminal act written in KUHP number 351. Methods: This study is an observational descriptive study with cross sectional test design based on the victims patient of IGD RSUP Dr. Moh. Hoesin Palembang in the priod July 2018- July 2020 that meet with inclusion and exclusion criteria with total sample amounted to 56 samples with medical record and visum et repertum. Results: From the result of study, 56 samples victims, it was found, the most age ranges of victims are between 17-25 years as many as 20 victims (35.7%), The number of men being victims are 39 victims (69,6%) The most of job distribution is private employees as many as 64 victims (35.8%), The most form of injury is bruises as may as 14 victims (25%), the most location of the wound was mostly found on the face as may as 37 wounds (40.7%), The most number of wounds are 37 wounds (40.7%) and the most degree of wound which more than one (minor injury) as many as 31 victims (55.4%). Conclusion: The type of blunt trauma in cases of abuse of a living victim is bruises. Keywords: wound Type, blunt trauma, persecution, visum et repertum.
