Introductions. Several previous studies about the quality of life of chronic spontaneous urticaria patients based on the Autologous Serum Skin Test (ASST) results have shown varying results. This study aims to determine the correlation between quality of life and ASST results in chronic spontaneous urticaria patients at Dermatology and Venereology (DV) Outpatient Clinic in Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital (RSMH) Palembang. Method. This study used the analytical observational study with cross sectional design and total sampling method. This research sample was secondary data in the form of medical records, such as data of age, gender, ASST results, Urticaria Activity Score (UAS7), and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) scores of chronic spontaneous urticaria patients at DV Outpatient Clinic in RSMH Palembang during the 2017-2019 period. Data were analyzed by Chi Square test using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) Version 25. Result. The largest distribution of chronic spontaneous urticaria patients from the 76 samples that met the inclusion criteria was in the 17-25 years group (23.7%). The majority of patients were women (64.5%). A total of 40 patients had negative ASST results (52.6%). Chronic spontaneous urticaria patients generally had mild disease activity (63.2%). The decrease in the quality of life was mostly moderate (35.5%). Bivariate analysis showed no significant correlation between urticaria activity (UAS7 score) and ASST results with a value of p = 0.287 or p> 0.05. The bivariate analysis between the DLQI score and the ASST result with p value = 0.307 or p> 0.05 showed no significant correlation between quality of life and ASST results. And, the bivariate analysis between the UAS7 score and the DLQI score showed p = 0.970 or p> 0.05, which means the correlation between urticaria disease activity and quality of life was not significant. Conclusion. There was no significant correlation between quality of life and ASST results in chronic spontaneous urticaria patients at DV Outpatient Clinic in RSMH Palembang. Keywords: chronic spontaneous urticaria, correlation, ASST, quality of life
