DAMPAK PERJANJIAN KERJASAMA INDONESIA-SINGAPURA TERKAIT KAWASAN EKONOMI KHUSUS (KEK) DI PULAU BATAM, BINTAN DAN KARIMUN DALAM PERSPEKTIF HUKUM INTERNASIONAL
This research was conducted to know the impact of agreement between Indonesia-Singapore related to the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the Islands of Batam, Bintan and Karimun (BBK) in the scopes and perspectives of International Law in the field of International Treaties. It also to know about the changes of the status in those islands since before and after the existence of a bilateral or multilateral agreements. The research methods that are being used are normative-qualitative with a descriptive-analytical and historical approach, with techniques of collecting data through library research. An agreement is also the rationale used by the author to determine the effect of international cooperation agreements on a region. The conclusion that can be drawn in this research are to explain that this interntional agreement is a type of bilateral agreement in the economic field and then this agreement changes the status of BBK islands into a Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
