This study aims to determine the relationship of self control with academic procrastination in class XI students at SHS number 02 Palembang in 2020. The method used is a correlation method with a quantitative approach. The total population in this study was 318 students and the sample in this study were 76 students of class XI Natural Sciences and Social Sciences which were selected using the Slovin formula, the data collection technique was proportional random sampling. The data analysis technique used is the product moment analysis followed by finding the coefficient of determination. The results of the product moment analysis of the two variables amounted to 0.64 which means that there is a strong relationship with the direction of a positive and significant relationship between self control and academic procrastination in class XI students at SHS Number 02 Palembang. While the amount of contribution between the two variables or Kp = 40.96% and 50.04% is determined by other factors.
