Introduction: Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the number one leading cause of death. It is the most common cardiovascular disease. Coronary heart disease is a condition when the oxygen supply fails to fulfil oxygen demand. Endothelial dysfunction is the main cause of CHD that leads to the formation of atherosclerosis. This study was done to find which of the cardiovascular risk factors were associated with CHD. Method: This study is an observational cross-sectional study. Medical records of patients treated between January 2019 and December 2019 were used in this study. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis were performed. The sample of this study are 75 medical records of CHD patients and 75 medical records of non-CHD patients. Results: This study found a significant association between age (p=0,005), gender (p=0,000) hypertension (p=0,000), diabetes (p=0,015), and history of smoking (0,038) with the incidence of CHD. Conclusion: Cardiovascular risk factors such as age, gender, hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidaemia, and history of smoking were associated with coronary heart disease. Keywords: Coronary heart disease, coronary artery disease, cardiovascular risk factor
