ABSTRACT SPREAD OF EVENTS AND RISK FACTORS LOW BACK PAIN IN EMPLOYEES OF BNI BANK (TELLER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE) IN PALEMBANG (Siti Shafa Indah Safira, December 2020, 1,5 page) Faculty of Medicine Sriwijaya University Background. Low Back Pain (LBP) according to the Ministry of Health (2018) is a pain in the lower back area more precisely in the location between the lowermost corner of the ribs to the sacrum area. The most frequent causes are too long sitting, incorrect sitting attitude, and not ideal posture. In the world of office there are several plans that must be in accordance with the safety and comfort of employees in the office. Such security and comfort can be adjusted to the office ergonomics. In this study aims to find out the spread of events and risk factors low back pain in bank employees bni. Method. This research uses descriptive research method with cross sectional design that is by one-time data collection. The sample of this research is employees of BNI Bank office in the Teller and Customer Service section in Palembang who meet the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. The data was taken from questionnaire through google form in October 2020 and processed using SPSS. Results. There were 68 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Characteristics of respondents include, LBP incidence in bank employees obtained only 13 respondents (19.1%), the highest age distribution obtained 25-30 years 25 respondents (36.8%), BMI spread obtained the highest normal 47 respondents (69.1%), the highest sex distribution of women 54 respondents (79.4%), the highest spread of working hours 3 7 hours 64 respondents (94.1%), the highest spread of work positions was not ergonomical 59 respondents (86.8%), and the highest spread of working time
